The quantum leap from a small butchery to what we now call an ultra-modern meat centre is a remarkable achievement and we strive to maintain and improve on the already high standards we have set for ourselves.

Furthermore, our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and computerisation which allows us to cope with the high demand for our goods and services.

Our Employees

We have 140 experienced employees who are equipped and skilled to supply our customers with the highest quality service in the industry.

Our trained and qualified Blockmans, Counter Hands, Packers, Cashiers, General Workers, Supervisors, Administration Staff and Managers are motivated to serve our customers with the products and services they need from the time they enter the store to the time they leave.

Our Fleet

To maintain freshness, we have a structured cold chain management system that ensures our quality and lengthens the shelf life of our meat and meat products.

Carefully selected, quality livestock is ushered in restricted numbers onto specially designed, well-ventilated livestock carriers to avoid overcrowding during traveling. In this way, they are transported from various farms to our very own sophisticated abattoir where they are cut under hygienic conditions, according to strict halaal methods and standards.

The freshness of our meat is the key to our success. We meticulously monitor temperatures from the time of slaughter to arrival at our distribution centre located in Parow, Cape Town.

Our fleet of trucks are fitted with onboard chilling systems to maintain the correct temperatures of our freshly slaughtered animals throughout the journey to prevent any chance of bacteria growth or deterioration throughout the journey.
